The Marysville Dog Owners Group (M-DOG) hosted Poochapalooza, an event catering to dogs and their two-legged friends, on Saturday, July 11, at Asbery Field in Marysville. Hundreds of dog lovers converged on the park, browsing vendor displays and participating in innovative contests and activities.

The fourth annual event attracted participation from regional humane societies, suppliers of pet products, breeders and trainers, along with those who just came out to have a good time with their dogs.

The event originated as a fundraiser for an off-leash park in Marysville. The city has since created Strawberry Fields for Rover, with financial help and ongoing maintenance provided by M-DOG, and Poochapalooza proceeds continue to benefit that project.
