Lead a prayer at city meetings

The City of Marysville is seeking individuals interested in continuing a tradition begun in 2002, presenting non-denominational invocations at the commencement of City Council meetings.
The City Clerk's office annually compiles a list of volunteers to offer an invocation at one or more City Council regular meetings and work sessions. The Council meets each Monday at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 2nd Floor in City Hall, excluding holidays and during the month of August.
Volunteers interested in serving their community in this manner should send a letter of interest to the City Clerk's Office, City of Marysville, 1049 State Ave., Marysville, WA 98270. For more information, phone (360) 363-8000.
