Merrill Gardens residents Marge and Nat Wilson recently celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. The couple met in Minneapolis in 1934 and they were married June 19, 1937. Mr. Wilson was the foreman of a war plant in Minnesota, working on the bomb racks that were used on D Day. After moving to Spokane in 1947, Mr. Wilson developed refrigerated trucking for United Buckingham Truck Lines in Spokane. After 61 years in Spokane, the Wilsons moved to Merrill Gardens at Marysville to be near their son, Jerry Wilson of Pacific Copy and Printing in Everett.
