Residents of Twin Cedars Mobile Home Park and La Tierra Estates in Marysville were the recipients of cleanup efforts by local Keller Williams real estate agents and staff members during the company's RED Day on May 14.
Dave Kratovil, an agent in the Marysville Keller Williams agent and owner of Curb Appeal Landscaping, acted as the project's liaison to identify needs at the mobile home communities. He and his landscaping crew donated their time, alongside the other agents and staff members, to help supervise and complete the improvements.
A crew led by agent Dave Watson also tackled the weeds in Arlington's Legion Park as part of the service day.
"We are absolutely thrilled with the results," said Twin Cedars' manager Esther Rollins. "All the residents are ever so thankful. Words just can't express it."
The team pulled weeds, mowed the grass and trimmed around the homes and fences, and painted decks and stairs for homeowners. All the debris was bagged and hauled away at the end of the day.
"I just can't say enough about their efforts," Rollins continued. "They're just super."
RED, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is a nationwide Keller Williams initiative dedicated to improving local communities that was started in 2003 by the company's vice chairman, Mo Anderson.
