Three county girls will compete for the title of Snohomish County Dairy Ambassador at the 54th annual Coronation Banquet on April 25 at 6 p.m. at Viking Hall in Silvana.
Candidates for the title are Kelsey Anderson of Snohomish, Andrea Neff of Arlington and Brooke Schoenbachler of Stanwood.
Kelsey is a junior at Monroe High School, where she is a member of the National Honor Society and the high school band. She has achieved top honors in a variety of 4-H projects, and has also taken top honors at state and national Holstein shows with her champion heifer.
Andrea is a 2006 graduate of M-PHS. Following graduation, she attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Everett Community College, and has continued her participation in 4-H and FFA projects.
Brooke, a 16-year-old homeschooled student, is actively involved with her family's dairy farm and has completed two dozen 4-H projects. She volunteers at the Silvana Community Fair and is active in her church group.
