Auditions set for Strawberry Fest talent show

Whether you sing, dance or twirl flaming batons, it's time to start polishing that act for the 2009 Strawberry Festival Talent Show.
The show, which is a popular event during the annual community-wide festival, will be held June 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Marysville-Pilchuck High School Auditorium. Contestants will vie for the top spot in the categories of vocal, dance, instrumental, drama/comedy and more. Both solo and group applicants are welcome.
Auditions will be held May 7 and 8 from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the high school auditorium. Download an application from the Events link at www.maryfest.com and send to director Marcy Giesler at max761@verizon.net, or phone (360) 653-6584 for more information. Deadline for applications is May 1, 2009.
