The local women who are members of the Marysville chapter of Soroptimists International spent weeks cleaning out basements and attics getting ready for the club's annual Junktique Sale.

On Saturday, April 4, Jennings Barn was packed with bargains and shoppers for the organization's signature fundraiser.

From glassware to candles, bedding and Christmas decorations, the tables were filled with a lively mix of trash and treasures.

With home-baked goodies and fresh coffee available, the Soroptimists made sure there was something for everyone at the Saturday sale.

Money raised by the organization funds scholarships for deserving girls and women and several other community service projects.

Marysville Soroptimists meet the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7 a.m., at Fanny's Restaurant. Visitors are welcome.
