Teen drivers are encouraged to attend a special collision awareness program, "Driving It Home," sponsored by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 28, at Stanwood High School, 7400-272nd St. NW.
Sheriff's investigators will review several local crashes and stage a car-pedestrian accident. Due to the intense nature of the presentation, the event is not suitable for young children. The presentation is free and registration is not required.
Collision investigators are also interested in speaking with family members of fatal crash victims who would be willing to share their stories at future "Driving It Home" presentations.
For information about the program, contact Det. Doug Gold at (425) 388-5437.
