Easter Egg Hunt
This free family event will be held on Saturday, April 11 from 10-11 a.m. in Jennings Memorial Park (6915 Armar Road, Marysville). Thousands of candy filled eggs will be distributed for youth ages 8 and under. Each participant will be able to collect 8 eggs from their designated age specific area of the park. All participants are asked to bring a canned food item for donation to the Marysville Food Bank.
European Pastry
Chef Michael Aspen will be tantalizing the taste buds in this European Pastry class focused on Gateaux and Genoise. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu London Culinary Institute, chef Aspen will delight you as he teaches these patisserie basics. Class will take place on Monday, March 30 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Jennings Memorial Park Barn.
Advanced Calligraphy
Instructor Katrina Barton will help participants improve their calligraphy skills and solidify personal style. Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 7-8 p.m. beginning April 6 at the Ken Baxter Senior Community Center (514 Delta Ave., Marysville). The cost of this four-week session is $49.
ZUMBA!
Ditch the workout and join the party with Zumba! This energizing class will helps build muscle, burn fat and have a great time. Classes begin April 6 and are held Monday and Wednesday nights from 7-8 p.m. at Marysville Middle School, 4923-67th St. NE. Classes are $40 for the month, one day a week, or $60 for the month, two days a week.
Dog Obedience Classes
This 8-week one-hour class taught by the Canine Behavior Center will cover all of the basic commands. Classes are on Tuesdays beginning April 7 from 6-7 p.m. at Jones & Co. Pets, 1340 State Ave., Marysville. All dogs must be fully immunized for their age. The cost is $110. To learn more about Canine Behavior visit the website at www.caninebcenter.com.
Drawing for Adults
Local artist Vicki Carver will help you discover and develop your drawing talent. This 4-week class costs $49 and is held at the Ken Baxter Senior Community on Tuesdays from 6:30-8 p.m. beginning April 7.
Jewelry Making Workshop
Join Cidalia Lopes as you learn to make a gorgeous bracelet and pair of earrings to match. In this workshop, held Thursday, April 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Jennings Barn, you will learn the basics of making jewelry. The cost of the workshop is $30; all materials will be provided.
Drawing for Youth

Creative Dance for ages 3-5
Your child will love learning basic ballet steps and terminology as well as creative dance movements including ribbon dance. This 6-week session is held on Friday mornings beginning April 10. The cost is $48.
