Are your children safe in your vehicle? National statistics indicate that 8 out of 10 car seats are misused or installed incorrectly, which can result in serious injuries to young passengers.

The Snohomish County Child Passenger Safety Team, a part of Safe Kids Snohomish County, wants to help. The team will begin offering free quarterly car seat checks around Snohomish County, with the first one set for Tuesday, March 10, in the Marysville Kmart parking lot.

Sponsored by Roy Robinson Chevrolet, American Family Insurance and Domino's Pizza, along with the Marysville Fire District and Providence Regional Medical Center, the free car seat checks can answer questions and correct misunderstandings about your child's auto safety.
