The City of Arlington celebrated an Eagle Festival with activities and demonstrations all day Saturday, February 7.
Parks Department personnel led guided tours of the estuary for eagle viewing in the morning, followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, performed by local Eagle Scout Joel Larson, for the new Eagle Trail at Haller Park.
Downtown, guests could take in a free eagle presentation by Sarvey Wildlife Refuge employees at City Hall featuring eagles and other birds, and even take a covered wagon ride.
