The Greater Marysville Artists’ Guild will present “The Art of Making a Living from Art” by Randall J. Hodges Wednesday, February 4, at the Red Barn, Jennings Park, Marysville, at 6:30 PM.  Hodges is a national and internationally renowned nature photographer. Learn the art of Origami in a 1-day workshop February 10 from 2 to 4 p.m., sponsored by the Marysville Parks & Recreation Department. This 2-hour workshop is a great and affordable escape. The Silvana Fair Board is accepting donations for its upcoming auction supporting the annual Silvana Fair. A pro-life Prayer Vigil marking the thirty-sixth anniversary of the Roe vs Wade Supreme Court decision will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2501 Hoyt Avenue, Everett, WA. The Workforce Development Council of Snohomish County hosts two 90-minute input sessions, open to the entire community, on February 3 at the Everett Holiday Inn.
