The recently-opened Carl's Jr. burger restaurant in Marysville posted a record-breaking $105,063 in sales in its first seven days of operation. The California burger chain opened its Marysville store, at the Gateway Shopping Center at I-5 and 116th Street, on December 9.
According to company spokesperson Beth Mansfield, the figure represents the biggest take-home revenue for a new restaurant, whether franchise or company-operated, in the chain's history.
Andy Puzder, CEO of Carl's Jr. parent company, CKE Restaurants, said, "We obviously impressed the folks in the greater Seattle market and look forward to continued expansion in the state of Washington."
