Western Days roundup at Marysville Goodwill
Have you ever wanted to dress like a cowboy or cowgirl? Now's your chance!
Marysville Goodwill, located at 9315 State Ave., will hold its seventh annual Western Days Sale on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16. Last year, the sale raised $37,500 for Goodwill’s free Job Training and Education Programs, and the store hopes to surpass that figure this year.
Throughout the year, the store collects many western-themed items generously donated by people in the community. A huge selection of cowboy hats and boots, belts and buckles, western-themed clothing, jewelry and furniture, and many other items will be for sale at Goodwill’s low prices. Several beautiful horse saddles will even be available. Doors open at 8 a.m. Friday, one hour earlier than usual, to accommodate the expected large turnout of eager shoppers.
“It will be a really fun time. I love the way the community comes out and supports us. We see a lot of our regular customers, but so many new shoppers come down and see what great western gear we have for sale, and they always rave about it,” said store manager Duane Bredin.
