Keeping up with technological advances can be a challenge for business owners who are focused on their own products and services. The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce presents a technology "wake-up call" for small businesses at the February 26 Breakfast Before Hours event, beginning at 7 a.m. at the Tulalip Casino's Canoes Cabaret.
Roxy Stimpson of RoxAgi, a certified Microsoft partner, will demonstrate the advantages of using Windows 7, highlighting the system's file sharing capabilities, productivity boosts and data protection features.
Following the Windows 7 demonstration, Dan Koffman will offer an energetic presentation entitled "The Art of Biz...A Wake-Up Call for Small Businesses." Koffman, who will be featured in the upcoming edition of Snohomish County Business Journal, will offer encouragement and specific action steps to help business people achieve their most ambitious sales and marketing goals by rekindling their original passion and business vision.
Business Before Hours is open to the public and includes a breakfast buffet, networking opportunities and prize drawings. To register, e-mail billw@marysvilletulalipchamber.com or phone (360) 659-7700. Cost is $23 per person with pre-registration or $28 at the door.
