Each year, Sound Harley-Davidson at Smokey Point has organized the Oyster Run Pancake Breakfast, a special event that raises thousands of dollars to fund college scholarships for local high school students. In recognition of the company's community involvement, the Marysville Kiwanis Club presented an Appreciation Award to Sound Harley-Davidson owner Scott Smernis on February 5.

Since opening in 2006, the motorcycle dealership has been a key contributor and supporter of numerous charitable fundraisers and community events. In addition to the Oyster Run, Sound Harley-Davidson has supported causes that include Special Olympics, Fisher House, Olive Crest, the Marysville Popcorn in the Parks movie series, and National Night Out Against Crime.
