New leaders for YMCA Board

Bob WojcikLeslie LauerThe YMCA of Snohomish County has announced new officers for its Board of Trustees, effective Jan. 14, 2010. The new secretary is Bob Wojcik of Cascade Bank and the new vice-chair is Leslie Lauer of The Boeing Company.

Recent additions to the YMCA's Board of Trustees include Mark Mantei, COO for The Everett Clinic, Dr. Gary Cohn, superintendent of Everett Public Schools, and Kurt Loring of Fluke Electronics.

Current officers are Allen Funk, president and publisher of the Everett Daily Herald, Chairperson; Jim Sporrong, director, operations support, Verizon Communications, Treasurer; Tracy Cumming, director, finance & supply, Aviation Technical Services (ATS) Inc., Assistant Treasurer; and Brenda Baltrusch, senior vice president with Wells Fargo, Vice Chair.

For more than 108 years, the YMCA of Snohomish County has involved top community leaders and highly-trained professional staff to provide hundreds of different programs for people of all ages, especially children, youth and families.
