Travel Leaders, formerly Carlson WagonLit Travel, is evolving to fit the changing technological environment.

"A travel agent is no longer chained to an office, but can now plan your trip on a wireless laptop using a VOIP phone," explained Alex Trettin, president of Travel Leaders in Tacoma. "Your agent is still available all day long by Twitter, phone, text or e-mail."

After ten years in the same location, the former Carlson Wagonlit agents have moved to 8825-34th Ave. NE at Quil Ceda Village, sharing space in the Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce office.

"If you need face-to-face personal service or just a brochure, you can stop by our new office that's manned by experienced agents," said Trettin.

"But we no longer need eight desks in one spot because many of our agents are working from home, at satellite office locations, and even just off the Strip in Las Vegas," he continued.

Clients choose agents because of their integrity, knowledge and accessibility, according to Trettin. Travel Leaders agents Nate, Sharron, Melissa, Kim, Rachel, Lynette and Chrissie remain available to provide the same level of quality service to loyal customers and new travel clients alike.
