First Heritage Bank, a local community institution, values community involvement, according to Cathy Reines, the bank's president and CEO.

Bank employees have participated in a variety of charitable and community events, including the March for Babies benefiting the March of Dimes, Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon, Snohomish Education Foundation Walkathon, and the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

First Heritage also organized and hosted several fundraising events, including Tip a Banker at Mardini's Restaurant in Snohomish, Easter Bunny photos at the annual Easter Parade, and a basket raffle with items generously donated by employees, customers and shareholders.

Altogether, the bank's efforts have resulted in nearly $5,000 in community contributions.

First Heritage Bank is the number one SBA lender in Snohomish County, specializing in small business, construction, real estate and minority lending. The independent, locally-owned community bank has branches in Everett, Marysville, Monroe, Arlington, Snohomish and Woodinville.
