Artists who work in a variety of media will be showing paintings, photographs, sculptures, baskets, hats, and whimsical muffler critters at the 8th annual Art at the Barn, June 23 and 24 at the Yantis Farm, 20412 SR 530 NE, 12 miles east of Arlington, in Oso.

Presented by the Arlington Arts Council, the show features more than 25 artists including painters Monica Yantis, Helen Lueken, Carey Sorensen, Rocky Barrick, Shirley Harwell, Larry Estep, Gary Govett, Mary Jean Williams and Jim; pastelists Vicki Johnson, Kathy Critchfield; photographers Berta Baker, Robert Walters, Sarah Arney, Mike Kinney; and mixed media artists Fran Kaufman, Arlene Schwarz, Cindy Martinez.

Browse one-of-a-kind pottery by Persis Gayle, whimsical muffler critters by Mike Nordine, woodwork by Lucinda Van Valkenberg, baskets by Dorothea Campbell, hats by Erika Bruss and Kristina Hebert, as well as works by other media artists, Sharon Johnson and Sara Walker.


The show is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
