Born and raised in Marysville, Loomis started vocal training at 15 and was active in multiple choirs during his school years. Loomis' eclectic musical influences include The Swell Season, EmmyLou Harris, T-Bone Burnett, and Johnny Cash.
"This album is really about the anticipation and hope that we find coming out of the midst of suffering and loss," explained Loomis.
