Raku ceramic fish by Marguerite Goff were on display as part of the invitational art show at La Conner's Arts Alive Nov. 5. Goff is coordinating another art show this week; the Pleasant Ridge Gallery show at the Rexville Grange runs Nov. 18-21.

 

What could be better than an original work of art for your very special friend during the holidays ahead?


For handmade work by artists from the northwest corner of the state, see the Pleasant Ridge Gallery show at Rexville Grange, 19299 Rexville Grange Road. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 18, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 19-21.

Along with Marguerite Goff's sculptural ceramic fish, dinnerware and a variety of urns, the show also includes jewelry by Debbie Aldrich and Lynne Irelan, clothing by Michelle Beach, handmade hats by Nancy Dean, and paintings by Anne Martin McCool.

The show also includes woodwork by Arlington artist Lucinda VanValkenburg, woven scarves by Jessamyn Tuttle, painted porcelain by Wendy Ross and glass work by Gary Wold, photography by Kathy Hastings and Sarah Arney, and more.

The show opens with an artist reception Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. with live Celtic music by Campbell Road.
